What the person needed:

Jacqui was looking for unit records regarding her father’s movements during the Second World War. In this case, as in many others, it is not always easy to find military records for a particular unit. Surprisingly enough and very often, United States military records and cannot be found. Most military records are not online and it is not obvious how to access them. That is where I come in.

How I satisfied that need:

This case presented some difficulties as my expert contacts told me that nothing was available for the 152nd Airborne Anti-Aircraft (AA) Battalion of the United States Army. The records had burnt after the Second World War in Japan. At the very end of an exhaustive search, I found the last remaining records of the 152nd Airborne AA Battalion and provided them to the client.

The customer's feedback:

I wanted to thank you for your assistance in helping me gain additional information on my father's unit, the 152nd AA BN of the 11th Airborne Division. I so appreciate your help. The first batch of information was very interesting. The archival papers of the 152nd you were able to locate and provide for me really hit my target. Thank you!

The photos of historic documents from the National Archives was exactly what I had hoped for but failed to locate myself. Now I can continue my search. Also, thanks so much for your willingness to work with my limited technical knowledge and all your explanations and how-to(s). It helped greatly.

I appreciated your efficient updates and your many options for payments. I wish you continued success in your future research projects. I have already, and will continue to recommend your services to others. Good luck and many thanks for a job well done.”
